Been Selected to lift for England at Commonwealth Powerlifting and Benchpress Championships, Canada later this year. Should be fun.

Random training this week, then a week in India, then a week in Spain, then actual training.....8 week block to bench more!! Also new shirt gets delivered tomorrow. Fresh from the US of A.

Should be a great experience.

Thank you Sir. The back is mixed - it is tight and sore. But at the moment it is trainable and manageable. Just. I hope that increased training will help rebalance some muscles and not cause it to get worse. Who knows, I will persevere with very high belted sumo deads for a while and see if I can get towards something respectable.

Bigger man you say? I cant remember what this may relate to Confused

Thanks mate - ah yes I seen now from his journal.

My grip is terrible, but have still yet to deadlift anything that causes it any problems....that may say more about my deadlifting though.

Looks like I may need to actually try on my next top set of Kroc rows Tongue Tongue

New shirt arrived so third heavy bench session in four days seemed like a good idea

220*1 55mm board
232.5*0.99 55mm board just needed a light tap to lock left arm. Ended up a bit over head and just couldn't grind it.
200*1 55mm board.

Close grip bench
100*10,10,10

Triceps absolutely dead. Arms feel deeply bruised. Also re racked 220kg with my knuckle flesh pinched between bar and rack. OUCHEY.

New shirt seems decent. Not ultra tight but feels good.
