The 'power of the pood' is good at the moment mate, better than the strength of the pound anyway...

(Oh god, I know that was really bad)

Just to chip in.

Im a kettlebell fanatic also and highly rate kettlebell snatches for conditioning along with two handed jerks (if you get two bells) in addition to the TGU and swings already mentioned.

What I will say though is there are kettlebells, and kettlebells.

I started off with a newitts ones, but the handles I found to be awful, unbalanced, too wide and dont sit that well when doing overhead movements such as the snatch.

I also found their weight to be highly variable with my two 16kg ones weighing 16kg and 16.5kg respectively!

Ideally the bell should sit nicely in the v of your thumb/first finger when over head, with the bell sitting kinda accross the forearm thus minimising the amount of ball section resting on the forearm.

Bells I personally have at home are by optimal life fitness and i cant rate them highly enough.

Ive ordered a 16kg Kettlebell which should be here next week.

Just been having a go at some dumbbell swings and trying to get my head round the turkish get ups - a bit of a mind f**k to start with but i got it in the end.

Cant wait for the kettlebell to arrive now.Grin
