Hi guys,

I want to buy an Inzer SDP but have no idea what size I need, I am 5'9.5, 200-205lbs.

Measurements are 52 shoulders and 48 chest, and 17.5 flexed cold biceps around the largest part.

Inzer recommended me a 54 when I rang them, but I just saw post where the poster said it was for a 242lb lifter.

I really need your help guys, cannot find any more infor anywhere on it.

Go with the measurements, not weight, when sizing all equipment.

How is a 6'6" 242lb man going to have the same chest measurement as a 5'2" 242lb man? Bodyweight guides are largely useless for this.

If Inzer say that's the size you need with those measurements I'd like to bet that's the size you need. After all, they should know their stuff.

But I am average height.
It is just a large gap and I need to be sure, since customs and shipping will cost me 100 euros so returning is not an option.

You're 5'9.6"? Or 5'3.9"? Or maybe 5'11.1"?

Average varies according to various factors, sources and groups.

The best thing about advice is that you don't have to take it.

5'9.6

just looking to make sure mate. I do not want it a size big, because as I said, returning it is not an option

My point is that your average, Ireland, will differ from Inzer, US, so the weight category is still pointless as an accurate sizing.

Find your measurements. Ask Inzer what size. Follow that sizing.

Everyone else will tell you the same.

To prove my point at 310lbs I wore an Inzer MaxDL for 275lb lifter. I used measurements and an Inzer reps advice and it fitted perfectly.

I'm sure it will be fine mate. Ring them again to double check if it eases your mind but I suspect the outcome will be the same.

Yeah well they just add two onto shoulder measurement. So 54.
However I've heard go by your shoulder size, and I've also heard that the different colour SDPs fit differently, significantly.

It is very very confusing, and stupid tbh, they also changed their sizing charts a few years ago so what used to be a size 54 SDP is nothing like today's SDPs

Find people who are a similar size and see what they wear.

I have a triple ply 56 that I wore a couple of times when 108-110kg. The chest plate seems miles too small to start with but they stretch a lot, also the arms were too big and I will be taking them in if I use it again. I have 19inch arms flexed.

A 54 will no doubt be too big in the arms IMO. A 52 may be ideal. Also depends on your experience in shirts and if you are going double or triple ply.

Just to put it into context Happy

I am going double ply. I think a triple ply will be too hard to touch in
