Good comp and great performances. Really enjoyed the day. Ed was super impressive especially on the stuff you wouldn't expect so much from him

This.

He's always been statically awesome but he has clearly been SMASHING the moving events.

V V excited to see how well he goes in WSM Final.

holly f**k balls, sounds like a cracking comp and the fact top 6 are going to WSM is excellent news.

Few observations from me -

What an absolute crying shame that a select few already knew they were going to WSM :-(
I would of course made for a much better show if they're were more on the line (Obvious the reasons so no need to go into it) Edd Hall, Hixxy, Ben Kelsey & Felix give it 100% .. Terry took it easy enough and Loz I'm unsure really BUT then he did f**k his first event up from trying TOO hard !

I'm really happy for Hixxy and Ben K .. They were both immense !!

Eddy Hall I follow some of his vids and seen a few of his comps BUT the guy out there yesterday seemed a different guy altogether !!
I may have this wrong but pretty much everyone wore a Deadlift suit except Hall who just wore a pair of knickers !

His log was crazy easy and could've/ should've hit another rep. But his moving events we're where he impressed me most and obviously he's been practising very very hard !!!

He was the "Strongest" man there!! I don't think anyone could argue that fact !!
It's up to the other Brits to play catch up .. And collectively for Britain to challenge the USA !

Great times for UK strongman !

Mark I think youre dead right and I did feel a little bad not pushing it being people paid good money to watch. I just felt that this year I had to leave plenty in the tank to not get injured at wsm again. It was out of respect for the crowd, darren/colin and the title I did a bit.

Anyway not relevant what I did or didnt do. Well done to ed on winning britains strongest man

Terry - You have nothing to prove, So chose NOT to try and prove yourself !! That's fine by me . I think the tickets were a steal at £25 ..

I would much prefer you to carry on your great record at WSM !! Such a different format to what we seen yesterday, I just hope these guys can step up to the plate and at least get past the group stages .

Be good if they do. More brits in the final the better. On the static events I just did enough so it was a respectable amount. I set the numbers in my head last week and stuck to just doing that. I went balls out on that first event though, no question about that haha

I think the seats up at the back should have been sold separately... cheaper with a note that they had a restricted view... I don't mind £28 (as there was a £3 booking fee on each ticket) but I do want to be able to see the action for it.

The events could have been moved back which would have sorted it, but I guess they were placed for the cameras rather than the spectators.

Aside from that, good comp'. I'm not usually fussed with Conan's Wheel but it looked great and was epic... I feel it was Ed's titanic effort on this that won him the title and many more fans in the process.

Congrats to Ed on the win and of course to Hixxy on the runners-up spot, well done mate.

Hope to see you fully contest the Brits at least once more before you retire!

Best of luck at WSM.

Fair play Ben . Can't argue with that - my seat was perfect .. Could see right down the stair case but yes some seats were restricted I agree ..

And I agree 101% on the Conans for Ed .. As he picked it up he looked clueless and I thought he'd have half a turn max .

Pure determination got him that event !

Just going back to Hixxy though .

I would like to see his placings event by event . He didn't appear to have a bad event . Shown his regular consistency !

Medley - 2nd
Log - Equal 1st
Conans - 3rd
