Thinking about it later I am almost certain that it was six sets in total.

I now have all five letters and the correct position of three of them so obviously the "Y" of the first entry moves to position two and the "Y" of the third entry becomes the first letter, thus yielding the answer. The fact that I have never heard of it is not germane. But it would have been had I not got lucky.

It could have been a two, or a three but was a four. On the plus side, I didn't make any mistakes.
