Too many possibilities and to be fair the answer was way down on my list.

In all honesty I suspect the answer would be way down on everyone's list.

Wednesday, 16th October, start 15:00

Squat, sleeves and boots on
20 x 5
20 x 5
20 x 5
40 x 5
50 x 5
60 x 5
70 x 5
80 x 5
90 x 5
100 x 5
110 x 5
115 x 5

This was enjoyable tonight, everything went well, including the shoulder. The only downside was that I was squatting with Turner, who, despite forty years experience remains clueless. I have seen him squat many times but have never taken much notice of what jumps he takes or what reps he does. He strolled in, announced that his top set was to be 112.5 for three and then expected me to know what jumps he should take and what reps he should do. The best advice is for him to do what he normally does but he doesn't know what he normally does. We got him there in the end but it was the hardest work that I have done in a long time.

A not-as-bad-as-it-looks six

YxxYG
YGxxG
xGGGG
xGGGG
xGGGG

The second was ambitious, the third far more sensible. I reckoned that there were only three possible options and three guesses left so safe enough, only the ever present nagging doubt that something obscure may have eluded me. Not today :-)

The shift to an uppercase/lowercase recording system has not been missed by me. I like it. If it had gib, I would be in favour of its cut.

Thank you. I find it simpler to understand. But credit where it is due and in this case it is due to my dear friend Dr.Rick

A more-worrying-than-it-ought-to-have-been five

xxGxx
GxxGx
GxGGx
GGGGx

Not a yellow in sight. My sequence is getting perilously close to one hundred so the nerves are jangling a tad before I even start.

Creaking quite a but tonight so gently does it. Possibly to be expected after Wednesday's squats.

Very quiet tonight, just Jim, Turner and me. Some have excellent excuses for being absent and some do not. Ah well, such is life.

An outrageous and extremely lucky five

xxYxY
xxxxx
xYxxx
YGxGG

The luck was in the fourth guess which gave me the correct third letter and therefore the last four letters of the answer. I know of no English word that would fit, but then I remembered the complete disregard Americans have for correct spelling. It was with great hesitation I entered the fifth attempt and despite it not being a word* it worked. Hence the previously mentioned outrage.

*Strictly speaking this isn't the whole truth. It is in the dictionary but only as an incorrect, American spelling of the English equivalent.

Sequence is now at ninety nine, so fingers crossed for tomorrow
