Yep that's the one mate Bulldog's gym. Was in the area so popped in.

235kg was smooth enough to suggest a PB may indeed be there for me soon. I haven't had a bench pb for over 3 years lol

nice. any sort of PB would get you within 10kg of josh cannon. (255kg absolute raw record in uk)
are you planning to gain more bodyweight and keep pushing this up now?

To be honest lads I don't think I need to gain anymore weight to bench more - infact more weight may even be counterproductive if it brings health issues and so on. I benched 245 when I was 145 but I didn't do legs then. Only reason I'm 160 now is because my legs have caught up. I think recomping staying between 140 and 160 is the way forward for me now - if I could be 160 at say 15% bodyfat rather than say 25-30% that should theoretically be enough to bench 300kg lol.

Wonder what Eddie benched when he was my weight? 260 touch and go I think?

I want to beat that 255kg and hold the record. The way 235 went up I believe 250 is within reach with a deload now

Def better to recomp - 160kg @ 15% would be an impressive sight. I also stopped gaining weight because i could feel my health would become an issue if I carried on up into 125s etc. sleep apnea in particular started to become problematic and I was only ever about 113kg max.

I'm definitely not lean enough to justify gaining any more - going to say 170kg@30% would be totally pointless as i'd be lugging around nearly 60kg of pure fat. I can't see how that would help my lifts.

I had the sleep test not so long ago - currently awaiting results. I am pretty sure I'll be getting the mask as i have all the symptoms of it. Thankfully it's mild at this stage unless i have a cold which furthers blocks my airways - last time i had one i fell asleep on the toilet and hit my head on the sink!

Basically I have the size there now, more than big enough to total high 900s, it's a question of smashing my weak areas and just staying healthy and injury free now.

Ha ha FAT SAM has been my nickname for 10 years ever since my first dreamer bulk, it even stuck after I cut and walked around at 105kg with veins and abs. I doubt it will change anytime soon lol
