I think my biceps peak needs work. concentration curls instead of squats for the next few weeks me thinks lol

All day operating list today. The tips of my f**king fingers ache from tying knots. Got to the gym at 7:40, did this:
bench...60, 82.5, 97.5x 5's ...then...115x3 x 2 sets....117.5x3....#2 bd, 122.5 and 125x 3's....130x2....
in and out in 30 mins. Clinical.

Been a bit s**t with updating the log. This is what I did Tuesday 29/4/08
squats...60, 82.5, 95x 5's and then 107.5x4 highbars without belt...then with belt for..130x3 lowbar without wraps...added wraps for...135..137.5...140...142.5 x 3's
benches ...60...82.5....x 5's....100x4...110x3 x 2 sets...
deads...107.5x5 and 125x4 without belt...then with belt for..135x3...160x2...

I'm also going to keep a weekly record on here of my squat and bench total poundage (training week starting Sat and ending Thursday)
This week if we include what I'm planning for this evening:
squat: 7655kg
bench: 9900kg

Yeah, love it. I admire the athleticism that the guys at the top level have.
I think your average RL player is probably close to the perfect athlete. 6 foot tall weighing about 15 stone with fantastic conditioning, can run fast, can take hard hits and pretty strong all round.

Followed by light assistance/rehab work which consisted of:
1) Military press: 6 sets of 6 with 50kg (45 sec rest btw sets)
2) Chest supported machine row: 15, 15, 12, 10, 8, 8, 6, 6 with increasing stack weight
3) Lat pulldown: 5 sets of 12
4) bicep curl: 3 sets of 10 with 40kg

Quick note to say that I've been moving my bench grip out over the last few sessions so that it's now index fingers on rings as opposed to pinkies on rings. I felt very solid with this grip today and reckon it won't be long before I reap the benefits of the reduced ROM that this grip allows. I'll have to bench wide with a bench shirt anyway so why not train that grip all the time.

I bench index equipped and pinkie raw. A couple of reasons. I find I can tuck the elbows in more with the narrower grip and that creates more drive directly under the bar. In a shirt, the shirt does the driving, plus the wider grip stretches it more and makes it bouncier. Plus the pinkie grip gets closer to narrow grip benching, with resultant benefits for triceps development, which helps lockout with a shirt on. I know what I mean, but I don't know if anyone else will...
