Ian Hampson "Sacked" as GBPF Records Registrar

22nd December 2009 - Posted by Rob A forum thread on the GBPF website suggests that long-time records registrar Ian Hampson has been sacked by General Secretary Arthur Hoey.

There has yet to be an official statement on the matter but a post issued by Phil Richards seems to confirm the sacking, despite some members already voicing disapproval.

This news follows farcical scenes last month when the majority of the GBPF squad were unable to attend the IPF World Championships in India due to an oversight with visas.
