I agree, I really enjoy watching your videos and your crazy displays of strength (Weighted hanging leg raises... whaaaat). *Sostrong* You just pull it so casually!

I'm not sure what your getting at? Do you mean your confident they would get whites in comps?
Do you compete in GBPF?

I'm confident they were to my standard depth and I compete in the GBPF and I've never been red lighted on a squat (only done 2 competitions to be fair though).

To be honest I'm quite relieved you say that, because I know my squats that day I didn't doubt any of them for depth. My squats just do look quite high compared to some peoples.

Oh and I compete BPC/GPC so take that how you will!

Thanks for being honest mate. Just out of curiosity how would you judge these squats?

cant really see that well with that bar on the rack in the way. if you go as deep as possible on every rep then theres a pretty good chance you will never get red lighted. On the other hand, I recall all white lights for you at the roses cup so you evidently did just fine then

Yeah my squats are usually consistently quite deep and to the same depth. I do go as deep as possible, I can't help but bounce back up. It seems though I start bouncing back up (much) earlier than some people whose asses are 1 inch off the floor haha.

I can't really remember, but I think on a couple of reps today I may have reversed the weight slightly before I felt my bounce so I'm worried they might not have been deep enough for competition and I cheated myself a bit.

Yeah I agree, think on a couple I sold myself a bit short. I know you can't really see depth but reckon any were red light worthy? The vast majority were to my usual depth though which unfortunately doesn't look crazy deep and it's hard to judge with baggy joggers. My hamstrings bounce off my calves fairly early on due to a fairly wide stance. When I feel that bounce is when I push up so normally my depth is consistently an inch or two below legal depth.

Thanks a lot samthepigman and ursus!

I'm really happy with my squats today, I've been planning to rep out today for 2 weeks now and I was hoping for 6, 8 being a pipedream! I think a couple of the squats weren't quite as deep as I normally go though.

Any criticisms? Does depth look okay? (Like I said, worried a few were higher than normal)

I would really appreciate it if you could subscribe to my youtube Happy.

When I was looking for a belt I found that thread on Google. I ended up going with this zuluglove belt and have been very happy with it for over a year, although I can't really compare it to other belts.

Haha that's a very good record and it won't be broken anytime soon! How did you train your squat to get it so high? Where's your squat at at the moment?

Really happy with this today, my squats have been a bit iffy lately and I needed to get some confidence under some heavy weights so I did some more reps. I'm currently training for the GBPF Classic in October, hoping to squat around 260kg.
