AWESOME! I love high rep squat sets with massive weight.
» Low-bar squatting with a fast spinning weightlifting bar (Go to post)08-03-2014 @ 14:58
I'm kind of the opposite, if I use a s**t bar that doesn't spin very well then the whole bar wants to rotate which I find can really throw me off.

How are your wrists rotating the bar? I think that's your problem. The sleeves should spin smoothly so it doesn't cause the rest of the bar to rotate, if the whole bar is rotating then you got a different problem.

Same, im at nottingham. Is a dissertation easier than exams?

I guess it's personal preference, I think I'd prefer to do an exam to be honest. I can see however how writing a dissertation could be enjoyable if you're writing about something you're interested in. How's Nottingham for maths btw? I was close to going there.

I do maths and we don't have to write a dissertation (atleast at Warwick, unsure about other unis), booya! Did contemplate the option of writing one though (we have an optional 3rd year essay module).

Nice work you carpetbagger. Was it all painfree? I guess that means you've qualified for the national classic now then right? :P

Bodyweight: 108.7kg

Powercleans: 90kg 4x2. Shoulders began to feel a bit banged up so stopped,
CGBP: 110kg 4x5,1x8. Last rep on every set paused.
Then I did some lights squats at about 100kg. My back was feeling a bit iffy so I've decided I'm going to let it rest more.

I had a lecture so had to leave the gym, I will have to do my DB Presses and Pullups next session.

Wow well done Myprotein, they practically dicked on everyone else. Optimum Nutrition seem like the only one that rivals them on their whey, but when you consider the price difference...
