was meant to be doing events today couldnt make to down to train so i when to the gym saturday standing shoulder press barx10 40x10 60x5 70x3 80x3 90x3(belt) 100x3(belt) close grip BP 60x15 60x15 60x15 upright row 30x15 30x15 30x15 skullcrushers standing 40x10 40x10 40x10 DB skull crusher 40x10 40x10 40x10 snatches 60x10 65x10 70x5(tired haha) cross trainer 15 mins bike 15 mins shower 2 mins home 10mins good session enjoyed it alot today going to continue on doing same stuff for another 2 weeks and try a few 1rm's and then do 531 for a few cycles but im enjoying the volume im doing i feel pumped and strong after training. | |||

Big_Gray said:some impressive reading on here mate. heavy work, high volume looks good. if u can improve on your dead n overhead then u would be a threat in comps no doubt. i found deficit deads and close grip strict bench 2 very good ways of improving the above mentioned lifts. keep up the great work thanks i like to do i high volume sets to build up to go heavier always feel alot better after training, i always feel after doing just 3 sets of my main like the main lift never getting proper training it needs. cheers for the advice will throw them in next session. i think i should def start doing deficit deads might help my get out of the hole. i want improve alot for next and im going for a top 3 finish for novice rep of ireland strongman so thats the big one for me | |||
