Hey all,

Looking at some of the vids posted here and seriously impressed, some heavy weight being moved!

Newish to PL and been training for strength gains a year now, bench and DL making smooth progress following coan phillipi routine after doing a basic 5x5 for a while until squats started lagging other lifts.

Basically looking for advice on how to structure squat sessions. So far just been doing doubles all way to failure and not making much progress been stuck for a while. Any info or advice appreciated.

Cheers!

Linear periodisation usually work well, such as 2 weeks of 10s, 2 weeks of 8s and so on...

Thanks for the reply, sounds like a good plan! What type of weight do you recommend to start with if my 1rm is 150? Also do you do a certain amount of sets or work up to say one set of 10x reps with the target weight?

Cheers!
