hi all

i wanted to get you opinions on whats good for improving the lock out strength. am i right in thinking it is alot of triceps at that point? i seem to have been stuck for a long time on my push press. however my strcit press is awful. im thinking of giving push press a rest, till at least my back is fine and i can clean and push press a log again. and for now concentrate on strict press, close grip bench and dips etc to build up the tricep strength, as well its s**te.

cheers

I would continue with push press, but also work CGBP and perhaps strict press also on those days

if your strict press is weak work on it!!

and that will carry over to your push press

Agree with JC - my OH is s**te too, but am continuing with push presses, strict presses (behind neck at the moment) and tricep work (CGBP and lockouts). I have found that on the odd occasion when I actully get the push press tech right then the weight flies up..Happy
