Says who? Not the paleo enthusiasts! I also don't think there's a lot of evidence to confirm your statement for people eating a well rounded diet!
Let the argument commence........

The original Paleo diet, written by Loren Cordain, specified lean meat.

He, and all the other Paleo guru's now prescribe fatty red meat as par for the course following findings from various research experiments over the years.

about 1.5 - 2KG a week i think. quite a bit of mince, quite a bit of steak. i dont find it makes me slower or sluggish unless i eat it quite late, then it feels like it just sits in my stomach all evening.

I'm a cardio guy and squat once a week or every 2 weeks.

I eat about 120g to 200g of pork a day plus some chicken sometimes and a lot of dairy. I must say that IS a lot of red meat, op. I'm sure you'll make terrific strength gains on it though. How much saturated fat do you reckon is in a kg of beef/pork/ lamb?

Depends on the cut and how much you remove.

Aah I see. So a lean cut really can be quite lean if it's just the meat from a good part of the animal?
Just now I'm eating frying steak. I'm hoping it's relatively lean.

There is nothing wrong with saturated fat.

Don't be fooled by the bulls**t 'fat is bad' science.
