it is for reps, and it is hard to tell what weight a car deadlift is,could be more, could be less but its definetly a car seankamo29/05/12 @ 21:57
230 on a bar for high end novice is reasonable but side handles on a car will be pretty easy. I remember a comp in 2010 when I did novice car was 240kg but on the handles was like 140kg. Most of us got 20-30 reps... Best thing Is to get all equipment tested I'm sure someone can tell what 200 plus on a deadlift is suppose to roughly feel like

I'm just saying, as the three 'car' deadlifts i've done i have managed to knock out 30+ reps. the first was a axle loaded to 260 strapped onto a cardead frame, 33 reps, the second was a VW golf with 200kg in the boot, 39 reps, the third a Vauxhall Corsa, 200kg in the boot, 36 reps. the last novice comp i did at PSF, we had a 220kg olympic bar deadlift for reps, i managed 10 reps. 230 from 18" for a high end i stil think is very light.

Will have a better look tonight vid as we only had a quick play with it! If it is to easy can always move it to front handle!
