most definatley not an idiot Member 2731, 3819 posts SQ 280, BP 152.5, DL 280 712.5 kgs @ 86.5kgs UnEq	thats all good mate,and i apriciate hes busy in work but so are alot ov us.takes just two mins to go online an give us an update.i sent him a pm which is still showing unread,and it nothineg to do with the training.its the sponsership.wat if we all rise money,then get told its off!!!!i would still donate the money,but,can you see mine and other lads point.i spoke to another member on here an he said it was probably off!!!!!!!nothing personal to pint,there must be a valid reason as to why he hasnt been on here,but if hes having problems,get somone else to take over,or.........

they found an old knot very deep in my glute Member 1837, 475 posts SQ 220, BP 200, DL 262.5 682.5 kgs @ 120kgs UnEq	As I have to plan time of work and also book a hotel in advance that's why I've decided to pull out an enter another comp around the same time. Other people have busy lives as well

I apologise and accept fully all the s**t that is coming my way. I can only promise that my wife, family and I have worked tirelessly to try and put this competition on bigger and better each year. Unfortunately this year everything has gone wrong. Firstly we lost the venue, then we lost several of the principal supporters (people who supply the food, drinks, PA equipment, tables, barriers, volunteers etc). Each time, we have strived to find a replacement or alternative. However, in the end we have failed to get this competition off the ground. We are left with two choices. To cancel or to postpone. We are willing to do the work to put this on later in the summer, but I know that many of you will no longer be interested. I understand this of course and I can only apologise and take full responsibility for all the trouble that I have put you to. I would like to extend my thanks for all your support and the kind words of some of those who know how much this means to my wife and I. I am sorry that I didnt have the decency to share with you all the difficulties we were having, but I had hoped that I wouldnt have to and that you could have all just turned up for a great day. If anyone would be interested in doing this later in the year, then please let me know (I will check this thread) but if not, please accept my apologies for wasting your time and accept my thanks for the support that you have shown this excellent cause including all your hard work and effort. Its just with my job i really have to plan in advance. Good luck in getting somethin sorted!

Member 424, 532 posts SQ 190, BP 145, DL 220 555.0 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq	Thanks to Mr Rob "stoneman" Frampton, we now have the offer of holding the competition on the original date either at his "Strength Tec" gym in Fareham (nr Portsmouth) or, pending his discussion with some local officials, possibly holding it out in the town of Fareham for public display!! Rob has asked me to put it to you, the competitors, to tell me what you would prefer - a different venue, or a postpone to later in the summer. Knowing Rob and the strength-tec brethren as I do, I know that we would still have an incredible comp. Rob has given me a lesson in overcoming today. I hope that you will continue to stay with us and express your preferences and we will continue to make sure that this competition and great cause goes ahead, even if slightly different than originally planned. please let me know your thoughts and I will meet with Rob next week and a final decision will be made.
