Member 3148, 473 posts SQ 180, BP 145, DL 210535.0 kgs @ 87kgs UnEq | slimsim - not fried but after last nights clean/presses, i had to have it massaged with tiger balm lol. but yeah, i want to do d/l 2x week - once normal, and the other 15inch and speed deads, use squats as a warm up on one day, the event im looking at doesnt specifically have any squat work so not too worried about them oxman and mrbeige - that would be a pleasant suprise if it was that! l0l ok last nights session: axle clean and press (first time using an axle so dont laugh!) 10xbar (35kg) 5x45kg (total weights from now on) 5x55kg 5x65kg 5x75kg fail at 85 - my body couldnt grasp the rotation part of the clean at this weight, so i went to racked push-presses 85 2x5 oly bar clean and press 5@60 5@70 5@80 5@90 fail@100 - knakard from axles lol single db clean and press 5@35 (all = each side) 5@40 5@45 smith shoulder press - from clean position (bar on chest) - explosive lock out, negative slowly 60 - 3x10 and that was shoulders done. was abit disapointed with performance with axle, but the way i gota look at it is 1) first time using it 2) not got the proper technique to get it on chest, rotate hands under etc - was just trying to clean and press it normally. it will come

Best of luck with your goals mate. just starting them and definatly not loving them!! lol for me its not that the bar's too thick because i got big hands i can grab the bar, but the different in that with an oly bar the weights at the ends, whereas with the axle the weight is not only on the ends its on the bar aswell so you have to use more brute strenght than plyo power and technique. hating it, but im learning to love it, alor of the events im going in 2012 have axles in so they have to become my best friend. lol. perserverance my friend!!!!
