Per 100gr, ready brek has: 10gr less carbs 6gr less protein 4gr less fibre 3gr more fat 3gr more simple sugar 2mg less sodium 26 less kcalories Only small differences individually, but cumulatively they change the nutritional profile substantially in my opinion, especially when you're consuming a few hundred grams a day. To get the same calories, fibre, carbs, and protein you'd have to eat more ready brek than oats anyway. You'd also be lumbered with more fat and sugar. Better off with whole oats, whole milk and a little honey I reckon, just get it down. If it's too hard to eat, blend it and glug it down. | ||
