Strong workouts mate! Squat is looking good.
Joseph_Walton
Thanks, squatting in the knee wraps seems pretty easy, the squats aren't hard just make you breath like a b**ch, there's probably 10+ there.
AvatarFAT_SAM
What do you reckon you've got on the squat at the moment in belt and wraps? 270ish?
Joseph_Walton
I did 272.5 for s**ts and giggles a while back, there was no buildup just decided one week to have a go. It was definitely a max on the day, not sure if there would be a bit more if i did a couple of weeks working on squatting in wraps.
AvatarFAT_SAM
That's a big squat mate! What's your best raw for comparison?
Joseph_Walton
252.5
AvatarFAT_SAM
That's massive. I get about 20kg out of wraps aswell.
Joseph_Walton
Not as massive as you freakish fella.

Left the workout at home so just did the weights i remembered, i also left out assistance and the pause squats as i've got a squad session this weekend which will be a hard session.

Bench
60x6
80x5
100x5
120x4
shirt on
150x3 4" board
2" board
170x2
190 2x2 easy, shirts pulling a bit at the corners so didn't want to do any really hard touches with it as i want to keep it in good nick for the worlds.

squat
110x4
150x3
200x3
260 2x2 straps up
292.5 3x1 belt on and wraps

These were better than last week and i have some video of the top sets, i'm not sure if they're depth, if they are they're 50 50 ish. I'm being very hard on myself on depth as i know how tight they are at the worlds, the squats themselves were effortless but unless they are to depth its worthless. I know for a fact the squat was at least 3.2kg heavier than that as 2 of our 25's weigh 26.6, and i expect some of the others are heavy so i really need to be hitting depth with this as i expect it's closer to 302.5 (planned opener) than it is 292.5.

I'll try and get someone to load the video up and then see what the opinions are.
Joseph_Walton
In my trawlings of youtube i found this, shows he doesn't get a stupid amount out of a shirt, about 50kg.

Eek
Joseph_Walton
i'll get the videos of the 292.5's up, i don't think i can actually move any faster with a squat, it was like a rocket. I'm very confident about my target on the squat, i just want to be hitting depth with this sort of weight.
