Big fish in a small pond Member 1150, 2101 posts | Im not putting that lift down 173kg is a beast lift but if he could get technique into it to make it more a push press i think alot more weight could be achieved.

technical retard Member 172, 36827 posts SQ 310, BP 205, DL 335850.0 kgs @ 108kgs UnEq | If he can double 173, surely he would nail big Dave Meers 182.5KG British Record?

Surely the leg drive is irrelevant. Would a 173 'strict' double, not equate to a 182.5KG press in your opinion?

Still got a little bit of strength Member 400, 22058 posts | The chalk just above his belly is a telltale sign that he continental cleaned it.

the world's strongest Italian Member 760, 27 posts | Thanks guys, I wasn't planning on maxing out but I did a few reps with 160 so I thought I try some more weight, plus I was feeling left out after watching them two big hairy bas***ds pressing good numbers (Dave and Loz). I usually put more legs into my axle press but my legs were fckd from my event's training on the Sunday. I did this on Tuesday at 9pm after working a long day, wasn't too pretty but I'm happy with it. By the way, I did get it to my chest with a continental clean but my friend doing the video pressed the wrong button and missed it. Most people know that the continental clean is not a problem for me, not pretty but it works.
