Ooops. apparently not {we did though) Axle press 70K warm ups... Jeff (dog rough p cln & press) "They are a bit awkward" Andy (stands up to knees "I'm going home" OK. So the weak point for me is gripping this semi erect penis (surley it's not just me?) so we opt for an alternative grip, fast DL and jump under the f**ker. Thought to self 'all those cleans mean v little here It works to a fashion, but I dont like it and it feels wierd. The fact I manage to muscle up a 110K that apparently is a little respectable comes as very little consolation Log lift 70K warm ups again are not setting me on fire. I cant see myself lifting, but I can see the others, and I'm in trouble. Jeff points out that we should slow down. A wise observation. I do and 80k and 90K go relatively well. 100K to shoulders but not a clue OH. We live in a world where 1/2" out means all the difference between a good and a bad lift. Here we are 4" out to start with. Jeff mirrors the above. Yoke 80 and 160 are straightforward enough, and although the 240 wasnt heavy it was awkward. Steps were down to single figures. 320stand was OK, but so what eh? Farmers 70K's wernt that much of a problem. Stand up's with 100k's didnt bust me up, but I didnt move with them, and I'd had enough now. For the future? It was good to have a crack, but I think my SM career ended about 90mins after it started. I can see how it's fun, and lifters are lifters the world over. I love em, but it isnt for me. WIGAN and myself bowed out early, but not before naming the training associated with the world of SM as 'wierd stuff'. Thanks to JM and Joni for making us feel very welcome to the North Bolton Dungeon. For you guys who havent tried it, do. You may just like it

So talk about throwing you guys in the deep end if nothing else, maybe this session reinforced your love for the lemony stuff lol

still a devious weightlifting bastard Member 43, 14374 posts | Never say never guys. it was a hoot, and as I said somewhere else, something everyone should have a go at. Their is a different aspect of conquest with every different movement within our game, hence the reason we all dont do just one lift. We each choose to do what we enjoy doing the most.

Enjoyed it, and who knows i might ask for a return some time if that's ok with you. Axle and Log would need some work, but Yoke and Farmers might be a bit easier to master, god knows what you do with those big round things though!!!!?!?!?!
