As for the crucifix hold, I (a pretty rubbish novice) do 20kg each hand!! But then I am super- hard!! I liked the idea of two guys face to face fighting it out, but - if the majority think its a no-no, then I can take it out. Car Deadlift will only be poss if I can get/borrow/make the equipment...(offers anyone) | ||

 Member 535, 618 posts SQ 267.5, BP 140, DL 275682.5 kgs @ 114kgs UnEq | inters spot on for me Matt but i too think crucifix hold is a bit heavy i would say 15kg inter 20kg open i reckon you have to do the push/pull again it was a killer but still awesome how about a husafell stone in there say inters for time over 50m for example and opens for distance. they are piss easy and cheap to make (there is a vid on youtube how to make them) | ||

Member 424, 532 posts SQ 190, BP 145, DL 220555.0 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq | To run these charity events means appealing to the local borough and parish councils, satisfying thier risk assessments - this is a lot of red tape - and I can only give a definate "Yes" when this is all agreed. As last year was such a success, I am anticipating no problems!!! Fundraising forms, Posters and all finalised info will be posted as soon as I have them- hopefully by end of Feb. Keep watching!! However, as stated, there are still some red tape issues about the venue to iron out (always the same with charity affairs). I will post up confirmation details in the next week or so with posters, sponsorship forms etc... I will stick my number up at the same time and everyone can start bombarding me with calls then.
