THE EVENTS AND LOCATION ARE STILL SUBJECT TO FINAL CONFIRMATION. PLEASE MONITOR SDF AND SUGDEN FOR UPDATES.

Sorry for the delay folks - preparation is underway!! Just a temporary pause - having been offered several good locations for this event this year it seems we may have a winner.

The SURREY SPORTS PARK is the new home for sports in Surrey - its a brand new (not yet finished) massive custom built sporting facility in Guildford in surrey- It has oly lifting platforms, state of the art weight training kit and is subject to a lot of advertisement and press interest (not to mention 10x full size pitches, 3 x floodlit pitches, wet and dry changing rooms, swimming pools etc etc).

I am meeting the team there next week (22nd) with a view of combining our event with the grand launch and opening of this facility this year - if all goes well it could be the best location with the best capacity that we could hope for!!!!

As soon as I have confirmation all info will be on here and the other SM sites. The proposed date remains the same

i can't see a phone number ( sorry if there is one i've missed) but with regret i have to say jay hughes has to pull out as he has had a tricep op as he has torn it. sorry for the lateness but he was waiting to see what the extend was before saying anything. unfortuneatly he won't be repaired in time. apologises again for any trouble caused.

It will be held in Guildford, 6th June, at the same location as last year.
We have been offered a the use of this every year from now on IF we can repeatedly show that it is popular enough to warrant council support - SO IT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAT EVER THAT WE GET EVERY POSSIBLE SUPPORTER THERE ON THE DAY.

The location is

Old Portsmouth Road
Guildford
Surrey

1) Overhead Medley –

2) Arm Over Arm Pull – I. Limo –loaded with children!!

For fastest time over 25 meters


3) 18” Deadlift for reps – head to head. Reps 75sec

This will be done 2 men at a time. Facing each other, going head to head.

4) Long Haul Medley
Duck walk I.180 / O.200 for 25 meters then 440kg tyre Inters 4 flips, Opens 6flips


5) Atlas Stones (over yoke)

Inters 110kg, 125kg, 140kg, 160kg, 175kg
Opens 125kg, 140kg, 160kg, 175kg, 190kg
