 The Giant of the Winter Giants Member 155, 132 posts | 200 tickets sold in a week, fantasic, we keep going like this we will get Many more ticketed venues.....Like most other sports, the support has to be shown in the ticket sales to get the publicity & investors. Not wanting to put pressure on the athletes, but these fan's are paying their hard earned cash to see you guy's perform,....5 weeks left and half the tickets have gone already... | ||

Red Bull is banned in netball Member 799, 1484 posts | Denny: I know its a regular gym oly bar for the Deadlift; is it regular gym height or is it with tyres, etc. If so, what height? Will we be ok to warm up with some of the equipment before we kick off the comp? Sorry for the questions, just someone was asking and it made me realise I was not 100% sure on whats what. | ||

The Giant of the Winter Giants Member 155, 132 posts | regular bar regular weights regular height (not an axle/tyres) everyone will have chance to test the equipment to be sure they are happy with it There will be a warm up area similar to Winter Giant's, with additional small muscle group warm up, kettlebells/ bands etc. 22nd is the cut off date, I will send out another update as close to this date as possible.  | ||

The Giant of the Winter Giants Member 155, 132 posts | That is the plan, its a great venue for having eqt set & ready to go, Im hoping we will have the professional crew for resetting etc (very speedy bunch of guys). Due to my right hand man Big Ken now competing, Ill be in the athletes area keeping you informed on whos up next etc, (along with a new mic system) so everyone will know what going on. Scoreboard yes, working on at least one thats big enough for all names. We had a couple of hiccups at Giant's with time, but I think we have them sorted. We shall make a little video drawing of the names/order of the first event, each event there after will run as per usual, i.e placing from last event, not overall score. Hoping to be completely on schedule for a little audience participation during the break. | ||
