felt nauseous on waking up - not sure what I’ve eaten but the stomach wasn’t feeling great. struggle to consistently eat 4000 cals / day so it doesn’t take much to throw my appetite off. better by time hit gym and managed a very comfy double with 175kg on larsens..

planned deload day and glad as I’ve got a bit of a cold which affected sleep due to blocked
nose all night. wasn’t expecting much as a result, but weights moved pretty well. Need to remember to use the stiffer bar now things are getting over 4 plates as the whip was a pain on the heaviest sets (I use a narrow grip too which exacerbates this)

and did loads of triples on larsens -
187.5kg single was quite easy in the end, another 9 RPE at most.

couple of weeks time I’ll work up to 200kg, pretty doable now without all the speed reps beforehand.

1kg gain in weight is definitely from a salt loaded KFC bargain bucket yesterday.
rows were pretty heavy, but the rest reasonably easy.
really find biceps such a boring exercise
never understand why the broccoli haired sarm goblins at my gym
want to spend a whole hour doing dozens of sets of 'arms'
they'd be far better off squatting and eating some food.

lol, still only half his peak weight, god knows what
life must be like at 200kg+, I'm struggling enough at this weight.
fortunately the KFC sodium overdose has worked its way through a bit
and I am down half a kilo.

everything felt good. 202.5kg moved nice despite leg slipping again on eccentric phase turning it another hybrid larsen - but it's the most i've lifted since my Ralls days (ableit 10kg lighter then when I was under the delusion I should compete in the u90kg). I think in comp with proper platform, higher comp bench and a handoff should be good for a few more kg.

Thanks, it's going well for change lol. bench press responds to BW gains so much more than any other lift for me.

Yes it’s u100kg. 3kg over should be easy to make weight, in fact a sweltering night like last night will see off most of that lol
