much needed back off session. when the same weights feel

thanks, things are definitely going in the right direction.

First not to get carried away and injure myself like last year.
200kg is the target. feel that's there now off yesterday's training.

bw creeping ever upwards, local chip shop lunch yesterday helped here, their portions include a huge amount of chips. If only these skinny young lads in my gym forever stuck on 60kg, lest they lose their abs knew the anabolic properties of the chippy

all moving fast today. 182.5kg Larsen was possibly the most I’ve moved at RPE 9. not a big fan of RPE PBs as there’s a temptation to lie to yourself and put ‘RPE 8’ as the weight takes 5s to grind to lockout, but this was very nice lift without any hint of stall.

wasn't feeling especially motivated after a poor night's sleep,
due to a random aching hip I couldn't find a comfortable way of lying.
sod's law it's now stopped aching but i have work so can't just loaf around :-(

once caffeine was flowing and past 100kg, all felt better.
182.5kg x 3 was pretty solid despite my back sliding up the bench
really do hate training in commercial gyms when things start getting
heavy. little things like bent bars, too deep j-hooks and slippy benches
make a big difference now.
will drop volume next week and then 3 weeks of doubles and singles.
