 Member 680, 11 posts | Post Edited: 12.05.2009 @ 10:03 AM by jwitney This years UK Strongest Man u105 is being organised by Paul Woods and Terry Hollands and will take place at Whitstable Rugby Club, Kent, from 11am.Events are as follows: Farmers Walk - 150Kg each hand for 20 metres Dead Lift - Approx 250-260Kg 4 reps Tyre Flip - 440Kg for 20 metres Over Head Press Medley - 120kg Log, 115Kg Axle, 110Kg Railway Sleeper and 85Kg Granite Block Arm over Arm - 3.5 ton vehicle for 20 metres Loading Race - 2 x 100Kg Barrels, 95Kg Tractor Weight and 100Kg Sack for 20 metres to be loaded onto a platform Atlas Stones - 110-160Kg 5 x stones Not for the faint hearted! This event is by invitation only so if you are seriously interested in competing and can lift the above weights then email Andy at waspy8@msn.com with your details and competition history and you will be contacted. We will have representitives from all Nations (hopefully) Alot will be based on the British qualifiers!! We didn't have time to sort qualifiers but hopefully if it is agreed we can run it again it will be different next year!! | ||
