Ridiculous!

Might just be the angle but that doesn't look in to me.

Awesome weight and easily done, but I wouldn't have passed it

I've been watching the squats from the European powerlifting championships this week. I'm pretty sure it is GPC for those that follow the many different "Feds"

Anyway non of them looked in

Look at the position of the three refs (two of them passed the lift and they have an excellent view)- the squat is in. This video is taken from in front and above the auience.

I must admit I watched through the live stream and wasn't sure but from that angle it does look well in....funny how the centre ref didn't pass it.
Any how the mans a beast at the squat he looked like he was still good for another 20-30kg.

Very possibly. The side refs passed it and that's good enough for me. The view from the front does look deeper, the but the side view in the original post looks dodgy.

I know from bitter experience that angle can make a huge difference, before we moved the squat racks at Adders all squats looked high when recorded because of the angle and height they were recorded from. We had depth-nazis viewing from the side who assured us they were fine, but the recordings looked high. It is surprising what a difference it can make. Plus the difference between "in" and "high" can be very slight

Centre refs can be the meanest people around but to be fair to them (they are human after all) they haven't got the benefit of playback like we do, they are supposed to give the lifter the benefit of doubt.

Insane speed for the weight. It also beats Don Reinhoudt's squat of 934 lbs, that stood for 40 years as the biggest raw (without wraps) squat!

Ridiculous. So quick out of the hole.

I think i saw another angle earlier which was slightly to the side and it looked much deeper
