Obvious caffeine can benefit training. Personally I struggle to do anything without it! I'd just prefer to stay away from simple sugar rather than encourage it's use. If I was the OP I'd try the big hit of caffeine approach first before going back after sugar. Sorry if I was a little blunt in the previous post. I was watching something on deadline day on sky sports and lost interest in typing. | ||

Whilst it may well be nothing more than that, I wonder if there is some brain taste link which has an actual real effect. | ||
