Yea possibly, by the time you've made a couple of batches you'll know how to get it just how you like it by adding water / milk if required. I like mine thick and quite heavy, very satisfying.

Mine came out dry and powdery, think I'll pick up some unflavoured whey and give that a go as I had to add quite a lot of water to be able to mix in the oats etc

Any recipe when baking is usually really dry at first and looks like it needs more "wet" ingredients, until you persist with it for a bit and get your hands in

I only needed a couple teaspoons of water on top of the actual recipe to get mine all nicely bound

The did taste pretty good even though I messed up the consistance. Served me very well as Sunday mornings hangover food after a rather brutal Saturday evening!!!
