I'd go for the Adipowers if your flush. I'm in Power Perfects atm and love them but from the reviews I've seen the powerlift are a slightly softer version than the power perfects.

I'm in a similar quandary but considering these:

The DoWins look good as well but apparently their sizing can be a little off at times!

I have do wins and think they're great and fit me fine but would only go for them if you have very wide feet and might go a size down on what you would normally get.

The power lifts have smaller heels I think. I have adipowers and they're great. Do Wins do the job though.

Adidas shoes are generally good, my first pair have lasted 10 years and I am still wearing them even though they look a bit tatty.

As another thought they may have been the most value for money item I have ever bought. I bought them for £30 which works out at £3 per year.

Hi there, just wondered why, if you're a powerlifter, you want to buy olympic lifting shoes?

In essence, for me anyways, they offer the same support whether it be for weightlifting or powerlifting (and for strongman events as well)

I've got a pair of Pullum's powerlifting boots and they've been great but starting to break apart now and I fancy going down the shoe route this time around (plus Pullum's latest boots are rank)!

Basically I think all people want is a solid based show with a decent grippy sole and longevity etc...

The newer Adidas shoes look to have a higher heel than my old Ironwork II's. Can anyone confirm? Have to say, and someone will probably die of apoplexy, that the heel height on the crossfit style Adidas shoes, the powerlift, looks right to me and would be my next purchase if the Ironworks weren't apparently indestructible.

Had some adipowers, sold them as too thin for my feet.

If you can find somewhere to try different ones, do. As each style fits differently.

Sorry about that, I just assumed that your squat, bench and deadlift poundages in your avatar must have been done in powerlifting competition.
I can see you want more of an all round kind of shoe for what you do.
I am just a powerlifter and have tried for years to find shoes that were as good as my old hard soled workboots,I bought a pair of Adistars which nearly crippled my knees and dropped my poundage down by 40kg right away, At the moment am trying good old Converse, much better but still not really hard enough on the soles, maybe go for a pair of those Metal jobs.

Good luck to you in your quest.
