Member 194, 3976 posts	Watched these comps today. The first timers were excellent, good bunch of lads and some interesting characters - very well done to all. BSW - Gemma Pwned everyone 100kg axle C&P for exhibition, it was good to see some more lasses having a crack at this today. One of the highlights was when Gemma was competing ont he Conans Wheel, little Benni was going crazy with genuine excitement and emotion towards his mum and he is not even 2 - was great to see!

Member 1391, 693 posts	Thanks to mike Steve and everyone involved, I had such a amazing time shocked myself with the frame carry and I pretty shaw I could of gone at least two seconds faster on the loading if I lifted the correct way and wasn't trying to be clever by lifting the barrels front ways on lol, any who's fab day wish there was moor like this threw the year for first timers and want to say thanks to the big black dude who was shouting at me all day thanks mate was a big big help lol "realese the beast lol" thanks alot agin and hope Yonsee all again next year, cheers mat spence

no longer sugdens strongest man Member 455, 1336 posts	no prob guys really proud of all the real first timers in the comp, wasnt just me but was the collisium crew. we thought all the real first timers did well they put all there effort in and they gave it all enjoyed yesterday good to see what strongman has done to some people and how everyone wants a bit of it. comp events were good weights could have been lighter for some of the first timers but i think the organisers now that for next year. womans was good to so overall good dawas good to see some techniques used on the log and my man jake marshall did well for his first comp conseidering he never touched any of the equipment well done all

stingy with his letters Member 496, 668 posts SQ 210, BP 190, DL 230 630.0 kgs @ 111kgs UnEq	i wa annoyed wi mysen. stupid errors cost me. dropped the frame walk and av no idea y, n lost out on log because i put it down b4 the referee give me the shout. suppose its a learning curve. thought gemma was amazing, real character n made me laugh all the way through, strong aswell!!

Member 1391, 693 posts	Bloody he'll I kinda feel alot better now iv competed with the big boys lol, will we get our times ect for the events I can't remember what mine were lol, the best bit was te fact my brother now wants a go so I have a new training partner, 19 stone with a 52 inch chest without touching a penchant press, give him till he is 30 and he willbe at worlds mark my words, lol I'm still buzzing from my first event man I felt rage like iv never felt it before I love it lol, can't wait now am looking to see if I can do another this year mmmmmm iv cought the bug big time lol thanks a again guys was the best day iv hadnin a very very long time( excluding my wedding lol)
