Getting the signs of the same hip injury from last year, so didn't deadlift and going to rehab it for rest of the week. To add to this, something went wrong with my shoulder on 1st 105kg bench set... it felt ok and managed two other sets but after it hurt a lot. This week will now be light with lots of stretching an mobility in the gym and at home.

Squat was nice, bench was hard but expected after shoulder issues and was psyched up for deadlifts, messed up 5th rep but still got it (went away from shins at start).

- deadlift didn't feel great so left it, 200x5 last week shows my strength is there

Wasn't sure what to do but bumped into a mate so took advantage of having someone to spot me and test out heavier weights.

Squat

up to a solid and not that difficult 180kg x 1

120kg x 3
120kg x 3
120kg x 3

Bench (CG)

120kg x 1
125kg x 1 (more there)

Slightshot on

125kg x 3
115kg x 5
105kg x 8

Pendlay Rows

90kg x 5
100kg x 5
110kg x 5
120kg x 5

- Shoulder and hip seem to be holding up well now. I just need a solid week of training next week and will be good to go for the comp.

Squat

170kg x 3 - my spotter tried to penetrate me on the 3rd rep which completely put me off.

Took 5 minutes, decided if I can't hit 170kg x 5, the whole build up was a failure.

170kg x 5 (PB) - happy

Bench - paused (comp set up)

110kg x 4
115kg x 2
120kg x 1

100kg x 8 (tng)

Triceps

Pull Aparts

Hip and shoulder feel completely fine now. Heavy deadlift on Thursday and thats it for heavy lifting until the comp.

Well done Raj, excellent PB, I reckon you have 200 squat if you push the boat out. 180/190/200 no probs, or 5kg less if you go girly

200/125/240 would actually be rather more than that
