I have a couple of spare quid TO BLOW but I honestly don't think its worth me buying a REAL nice one , but I kinda like the wolverston hybrid and some sexy bumpers

Whats the current recommendation - for bench, dead squats, rows maybe militarys but mainly the big three - even going on just strength shop theres several options.

Ive only used generic bent gym kit and eliko ipf competition bars so i have seen both ends of the market lol

Best 3 bars for price are Tiger Power bar, Rhino Strength Power bar and Rogue Ohio

The Rhino is like 230 quid or something and is legit IPF spec. The former a bit more (still under 300 if I remember right) and is outright incredible. Had mine 3 years and looks brand new. Had the Rhino under 2 month so can't comment on it's longevity but for the price its insane. Knurling is amazing.

For reference, I've owned a TPB buddy capps, Strength Shop bas***d bar and a titex.

The TPB rusted on the barrels, the strength shop bas***d bar snapped on me mid squat, and the titex just seemed to lose its knurling over time, even with plastic bristled brushing.

Depending on budget (these are all sound budget anyway), I honestly can't recommend anything other than:

low budget - Rhino Strengthshop Power bar:

I prefer the knurling on both the Rhino/Tiger vs the Ohio, but I prefer the thinner drum stop of the Ohio (except squatting with catch bars as I hit them haha).

The rogue ohio is a sound bar, but it is absolutely no where near twice the quality of the Rhino despite twice the price... this isn't to suggest the Ohio isn't a steal, it's more a testament to how good the Rhino pricing is. If anyone in West Yorkshire and wants to have a look at all three bars in person, give me a shout!

862.0 kgs @ 114kgs UnEq		The tiger bar does not age well I have one in the gym I bought for lock down it's just over a year old and it's showing it's age badly. Not used the rhino bar. Rogue ohio is a great bar. Titenex bar is much better than the ohio imo

At 476 tho it's not that much better, the ohio at 400 shipped is the best value imo. not used the rhino bar but I might buy one to see.

Strength shop bas***d bars I don't know what the new ones are like but I have one of the originals and it's the worst bar in my gym and I have 2x 100 quid strength shop bars that are the cheapest they do that are suprisingly great for the price.

The primal strength Austin power bar is very similar to the ohio power bar, same thickness and sleeves/stoppers. Had mine for almost 2 years and it has treated me well
