also did some more conditioning stuff on tues night in my garage..
22kDb swings
ab rollouts
27.5k ez bar curls

15 reps of each, 10 sets, 20 secs between each round of 3 exercises..
was very nice :-)

How you finding the kettlebell training?

Had to leave mine last week to give my back a rest.Unhappy

well thats the thing mate, im using a dumbell at the moment.. but its a spin lock one.. so i whack a 5k weight on one end, and then 3x5k weights on the other.. hold it by the 1 plate end and do them like that... similar feeling to a kettlebell that way in that the weight is more towards one end.. but im lovin mate!
im enjoyin the conditioning side of things... only been doin swings so far, snatches/ cleans etc arent gonna be possible with these DB's cos theyre crappy spinlock ones and just spin off v easily..

i think i may be overdoin it tho hence why i have a dodgy right glute... may lay off til the weekend now... just kepe it to 2 sessins a wk.

Must admit its hard to resist the temptation to do it all the time.

Ive started doing some incline walking after each weights session and plan on doing kettlebell swings 2-3 times per week in my bid to become lean and strong.Grin

bench work
quads

that im gonna do KB swings on the tuesday after squats and one day at the weekend too... and like u, do 5 -10 mins of HIIT work after 2 other sessions, probably monday and thursday.. we'll see..
weighted myself at the gym today too.. with my clothes on and my small gym bag, i was 108.5kg... so im thinkin around 104-105 without bag and shoes..thats as light as i wanna get so, gonna be bumpin carbs back up a bit again.. will just make sure i keep the conditioning work in as i dont wanna pack loads of weight back on..

Im weighing around 88kg at the moment but am probably carrying a couple of kg of fat which i want to ditch after my comp then work clean bulking up to around 95kg lean so i can cut down to 90kg for Englands U90kg next year.

Thats the plan anyway.Grin

yeh most of the abs are out now.. which isnt necessarily a goal of mine i suppose.. but im tryin t stay lean and strong, in prep for a small winter cycle..

strange session... 10 mins into my OHP i went proper hypo and got the mini shakes.. but pushed thru and it died down.. :-(
anyway,

40x7 -- went lighter on these as i felt gassed, dint hold up too well either.. nothin in the tank... mustnt have eaten enough prior to trainin that day hence the 'hypo' feelin... ah well!!

finished with some laterals and pushdowns...

gonna have today off and do back tomorro.. quads are fahooooookin sore today from weds leg session!!
