Sunday - Bexhill Duathon 5k run, 20k bike, 2k run - all very easy as did it with a client of mine. Monday - Bulgarian Bag and Kettlebell 30 min blitz Tuesday - Benched 120*1, 105*5*3 sets, close grip bench 90*6*3 Wednesday - Bulgarian Bag, Slosh Ball and Kettlebell conditioning Thursday Squat Bar * 10 Bar * 10 60 * 5 60 * 5 60 * 5 100 * 5 100 * 5 120 * 1 120 * 1 all felt slow 130 * 1 140 * 3 140 * 3 140 * 3 140 * 3 140 * 3 Reverse Band Deads 100 * 10 120 * 5 140 * 5 160 * 5 180 * 3 200 * 1 210 * 1 SLDL 100 * 10 110 * 8 120 * 8 130 * 5 Solid hard session today. Squats felt pants so held back on weight and got some decent volume in. Need to cut back on the conditioning next week and focus more on the powerlifting, got a bit carried away this week. | ||

Knee injury just about recovered now but got pissed off carrying injuries for most of the year. Deadlifted yesterday first time in 8 weeks. Worked up to 150x5 160x3 170x2 all easy enough. Pretty bloody pleased with that. Much of my training has been kettlebell sport based, mainly jerks with a pair of 20's. Best rep total so far 47 reps in 4 min 30 Also been doing some light over head squats 50kg x 3 current best but gaining all the time. Have back squatted too only up to 100kg for sets of 10. Enjoying training without constantly chasing numbers | ||
