Like the others have basically said, max strength is important. Lots of reps will help you add bodyweight, but not necessarily strength. Add in some more strength stuff. Keep things simple, no need to do a million and one exercises.


I'll do a vid of squatting and deadlifting when I next do them mate.

Havn't trained for 3 weeks, got married and just got back from honeymoon.
Just been out and bought some sci-mx mass system, going to smash the gym tomorrow.

First day back in the gym after 3 weeks so didn't go to heavy. pretty random exercises.

strict press - more of a warm up than working sets, very light

Goin good thanks mate. haven't deadlifted for over a month to be honest. Going to start again this week. If i can deadlit 180kg by december the i'll definately be at the comp. I'll post a vid this week sometime.
