After Stalling for a couple of years, being injured and having the inability to stick with one split or programme for longer than a week; I'm hoping that posting regularly will keep me in line.

I stopped following programmes and muscle group splitting.

Now I focus on improving lifting ability in compound movements and train whatever I feel like. Training is a lot more enjoyable when you don't follow a rigid plan and revel in the freedom of just going along and throwing weight around.

In my opinion you are doing too much volume, especially on deadlifts. Unless, your direction is focused on muscular hypertrophy?

I pulled 300 previously whacking out some volume. I wouldn't try and pull 8's when over 50-60% though.

At the moment I want to put a bit of muscle on in the run up to the BDFPA British. I'll taper down in the coming weeks.
