A max static strength comp would be too similar to powerlifting. | ||

Member 662, 3372 posts | i personally feel entertaining events are best! head to heads are a must! i would personally always set up a comp with 1 third static 2 thirds moving. i hate pressing medleys that comp down to time rather than power, same with deadlift at wsm which was just about doing it quick. i do think some promotors are ott with the weights, they need to be heavy enough to challenge but not too heavy where loads of guys get the same reps | ||
