No video unfortunately. Deadlifts were not against bands. The main focus of today was trying to nail down the new technique.

Bench felt really good today which has given me a lot of confidence, especially the pause rep on 120. Strict was extremely easy today as well. Very happy.

The 85 snatch snatch will hopefully be there soon. Attempts were very close but the position in which I tried to receive the snatch was a bit off. I think I will continue with the hang work until I can confidently hit good reps consistently. Power clean technique felt a little dodgy but 100 came up relatively easily so it can't be that bad.

Lifts felt really good today, especially clean and jerk which I haven't done in a very long time. I think I will be doing any oly lifting competition on the 23rd.

I was impressed, especially with the 5th rep after the 4th looked slow.

Today was a very good day. The thinking behing going for the fifth rep was that if it killed me I at least wouldn't have to explain my atrocious classification in my degree tomorrow to my parents.

Bench press was feeling poor today so I decided to do some pause reps instead. All reps were good. The row was meant to be an easy one today to ease back into it. Turns out I'm a lot less fit than I thought. The time was still never in any doubt though so I guess that's good.

Wanted to strict press, but no racks were available so did it seated instead. Not sure why I did curls though, meant that I couldn't lift heavy. Lets say this was a deload session.
