Scotbasher - forever Member 59, 2115 posts | If you intend competing make sure you get a belt that meets competition criteria with no logo on it. Pullum sports or BP sports stock quality belts that are IPF approved, you can get one for about £40. for an 8mm buckle type or if you are a bit more serious lever action 13mm type are about £90. You can get cheap import belts off ebay and the like but the buckles are very flimsy on them and they will split after regular use. Spend a bit extra on a good one and it will last years.

Yet another dieter Member 66, 252 posts SQ 190, BP 145, DL 240575.0 kgs @ 98kgs UnEq | Is that Brent Mikesells company Rob? I am currently on the payment section of inzer USA. I want the lever 13mm in royal blue and in total it will be $138. £70 delivered a good deal? It just seems alot of money for something that I'm not even sure I will use. decisions decisions!

I have heard that Inzer can be slow to process orders, but then again one lad at Sugden had a belt off them within 2 weeks. It will be slightly cheaper off IG I imagine. It's a pity you can't get a good one to have one or two sessions with, I tried Olly's before ordering mine.

Was worth the cash, I wouldn't even consider using anything else now. Plus, its just a two-piece belt with a re-adjustable lever-buckle. You can adjust it for off/in seasons. No chance of it breaking really.

I don't think I get much at all out of one on deadlifts, but I definitely feel more secure wearing it.

The belt's are typically very rigid and take some working into to. If you get used to it the first session or two, then bonus. But expect it to take a week or so to make it pliable, and a bit more to really get a nice feel for it.

I have been told that wearing it loose and forcing the abdominals out is a good technique for building core strength during the squat. I would only wear it tight for 3s and heavier too.
