Member 9, 18279 posts SQ 210, BP 167.5, DL 260 637.5 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq	Cheers for the support Tony (and the videoing) was good to catch up with you and the same goes for Will and Pete too. The lads did themselves proud, put in sterling efforts on a lovely, hot day. Personally I did well on 2 events (farmers walk and carry and drag) and s**t on 2 (log press and barrel loading). I don't really know how I did on the truck pull as I had nothing to compare my time to. Finished 8th overall (out of 16) in my first open comp which I'm a bit disappointed with TBH. Lots of work to be done!

Joni you're going to look ace in 10 years or so when you're a bit more rugged... you already have a good strongman look going on but it will get even better. Why the hell is Tony dressed for the next coming of the ice age? I know he must be feeling a bit skinny at his new bodyweight but he's taking the 'two tops tactic' a bit far

Millsy can move at some speed with weight putting much bigger guys to shame. Joni gave it everything to get a well deserved 4 barrels. And Will gave an impressive showing on the log considering a few guys didn't get 1. Looking forward to next year.

I reckon next year would be a good one for you to look to compete in Tony. It gives you a full 12 months to train towards, you know the weights aren't crazy heavy and it's on your doorstep! Bob has a great training facility not a million miles away from there with a good group of lads training - you should look to get down for a session with those guys sometime. Plus we'll probably be doing it again.

Pete knows better than I do, but it is well within your travelling distance I would have thought. As you can imagine he has all the kit you could ever wish for, a bit like Mark's place.
