Predictions will and jonny? here are mine from the depths of a man flu: 1) Log Lift: 100kg, reps from floor. Hoping to go for 4 reps. 2) Farmers Walk: 125kg each hand, fastest time over 50m. 30m would be a good result for me as they are apparently bas***d farmers to carry. 3) Loading: beer barrels 80 - 140kg. i would like to load them all, it will be a mighty battle with the last one, but the goal must be to get them all loaded. 4) Carry and Drag: 100kg sandbag and 300kg chain drag will kill me, but no idea about this one. 5) Truck pull: harness. In a perverse way looking forward to this event the most! I have no idea if i will suck at it, or be good at it, thats secondary - WE GET TO PULL A f**kING TRUCK GUYS!!!  | ||

Likely to be 3-4, with 2 being a disaster and 5 being great. Farmers - finish oin a decent time without any drops Carry and drag (it's a bas***d tree stump as opposed to a sandbag though, Joni) - again finish in a decent time without any f**k ups Beer barrel loading - load them all Truck pull - no idea! Just hope the surface (concrete) will not be too slippy for my hiking boots. Looking forward to it now, got a BBQ the day before so will look to pack plenty of calories in! | ||

Fingers crossed I won't be slipping all over the place. Farmers are a bas***d really, turn isn't too bad but they are pretty thick and bang into your legs as you walk - nice! | ||

Trump will get another four years Member 126, 16708 posts SQ 160, BP 110, DL 225495.0 kgs @ 75kgs UnEq | cool, didnt waste my money then! hmm not looking forward to those farmers! whats the pickup on them like? joni - id be over the moon with 6 on the log, but my fitness (or lack of it) says thats going to be tough! heres my predictions then. pretty tough to do as there are alot of unknown quantities in this one but here goes: 1) Log Lift: 100kg, reps from floor. 4 would be ok for me and 5 would be a good result. anything less than 4 would be a disaster! 2) Farmers Walk: 125kg each hand, fastest time over 50m. I was hoping to complete the course with 2-3 drops but if the farmers are 'hard' anything over 30m would be ok I think. 3) Loading: beer barrels 80 - 140kg. only ever tried a 90kg keg which was easy so im not sure. Id be happy to get all loaded within the time limit. 4) Carry and Drag: 100kg tree stump? and 300kg chain never done a drag and only ever done a carry with sandbags so difficult to say. I have worked hard on my fitness though so hopefully thatll help me here. again id just be happy to complete the course. 5) Truck pull: harness. this is the one im really looking forward to. I just hope I can move the thing!  | ||
