Not sure if people are interested in this, but this comp is happening currently. The guys have finished day one, the standings are -

Both oberst and savatinov hit a 460lb log, which is around 208kg. Oberst has his log on his Instagram, he made it look relatively easy

Anybody know today's results? I didn't realise Burke and shaw were injured, I was wondering why they didn't compete. And your right, it seems 200kg+ logs are becoming more common.

Nothing yet, contest is on MST so could be starting in an hour or so. Burke tore a meniscus and Shaw has a groin strain.

Both Oberst and Savatinov attempted the 229kgs log but they both failed to get the log to their chests.

Got to fancy Oberst all the way... Beard of strength!

And he's bloody massive
