Been told I have either torn my pec major or my labrum(excuse spelling)
Obv without a scan I cannot determine which I have torn.

It only hurts when I bench press.
(Which makes me think its more my pec)

So simple - stopped benching heavy for time being.

Anyone know good stretches? Or advice on what I should do next?

Honestly. You've got no knees and now 1 arm. Take more care of yourself

If there is no inflammation then try and get some blood flow thru the area. Search "Brian Carroll Band Fly" on YouTube, Donnie Thompson (SuperDTv3000) loads of pec/shoulder videos with stretching there. Training around it rather than addressing the problem won't be the best option IMO.

My knees have been given the all clear! Strongman has actually really helped the knees.
This tear has actually occurred through hard training and the new job I am doing mate.

James. Cheers will look into it. I have been told by the physio to stop training when it hurts. Rather than no training

How did you get to see the physio? Was it through the gp?

If so yes. They should be offering the investigation imo.

If you've not been to the gp then yes go. Describe what happened etc and push for a scan

reality is you won't get an mri without xrays first. Have them and they won't show anything but it's too sift out the people who don't need mri's. Depending what they suspect ultra sound may suffice

vanilla gorilla had some scans and I believe, he made a point of going to mri and waiting for a cancellation. Not something I officially would recommend. But I'd do it

pester your gp too. In a nice way

Private physio. He said if it doesn't improve then he recommends a scan but may just go ahead and push for the scan.

Can get any now X-rays. Specialist said I have had 34 X-rays and 14 were jn same year. So will push for MRI.

Cheers

Who says no more X rays?

What have you had xrayed?

There is a risk with all of them. But the likely hood is not having the xrays is more of a risk than having them.

Most xrays are of negligible risk. If you were having full body cts, thats a big dose. A chest xray is about the same as 3 days worth of normal background radiation, extremities even less than that. If you fly from London to NY you get 18 days worth of radiation just from been closer to the sun.

Some hospitals are using ultra sound scans with great success
