Well, 4th tendon in just over a year, first distal bicep tendon last April ish, second one end of December now the above mentioned tendons, pec major and proximal short head biceps. Sick as a chip doesn't cover it. Not looking for sympathy, they've all been my old fault, too heavy, bad technique, general idiocy etc. This time, heavy chest press. So I think that's me with regards lifting anything above the little silver girly dumbbells for a while. Stay safe out there guys and girls, if you think it's gonna be too much before you lift it, it probably is, you might get away with it, you might not, just think of the impact a serious injury will have on your 'real' life things. Surgery next week, I'll keep you posted Happy

Many things it could be and as stated, see a professional for proper diagnosis, but just from what you describe, sounds proximal tendon related...

Just messing around, bit of fun in new gym, 100kg each side on shoulder press, loads of noise (weights don't move without it Wink )8 weeks ish post op for my second distal tendon reattachment, still can't lock out right arm. Think I shrunk about 3 inches after this...

Yup, but uneducated, coffee drinking, cigarette smoking, beer drinking public perception puts the blockers on that...
