Well, 4th tendon in just over a year, first distal bicep tendon last April ish, second one end of December now the above mentioned tendons, pec major and proximal short head biceps. Sick as a chip doesn't cover it. Not looking for sympathy, they've all been my old fault, too heavy, bad technique, general idiocy etc. This time, heavy chest press. So I think that's me with regards lifting anything above the little silver girly dumbbells for a while. Stay safe out there guys and girls, if you think it's gonna be too much before you lift it, it probably is, you might get away with it, you might not, just think of the impact a serious injury will have on your 'real' life things. Surgery next week, I'll keep you posted Happy

Sorry to hear that mate, I've had a partial tear away from the tendon about 7 years ago. Took me a year to rehab it and regain pressing strength after physio and taking it slow.

Mate of mine worse tore his completely twice! I was there both times it happened horrible. He had it surgically reattached (hooked on bone?) Think the NHS guy didn't understand the difference between cosmetic fix and functional fix as a year later he was benching only 70kg and it popped again-I couldn't believe it.

My only advice is make sure your surgeon knows what its for!
