Problem with rest Nick is I did that last time and got a little too friendly with prescription pain killers, donuts and kebabs. If I'm to learn anything from that experience, it's to not to those things Happy

Ive heard plenty of good reviews.

That looks interesting...problem is, right arm is gonna be in a cast and then brace for the next 3 months or so, then very weak after that. Left arm I'm being particularly protective of as had same injury and surgery etc to it in march so last thing I need is to re-f**k that one and have my wife gloat and say I told you so in that tone as she takes me to the toilet etc

Plenty of legs I suppose. I'm going to get back into cycling for cardio. Abs/core work? Possibly, I haven't tried yet, butterfly machine for chest? don't have to hold on with arms for that really. Not a great exercise but at least something for upper body huh?

Think a few people should have a go at that in the name of science and all that, report findings Happy

Well, I've done a truck pull, did ok for a light weight, can't say I'm likely to have chance to do it again with my fubared arms, would be interesting to find out though. Still don't think if I had 20k of fat on though the truck would go any further/faster. Muscle on the other hand...

As someone said ( can't be bothered to read back through, great topic though!) put a coat on Usain Bolt, he's still Usain Bolt. But would Usain Bolt run as fast with or without the coat? If the coat weighed, say, 20kg? And sprinting isn't strongman. The same guy would probably still be able to exert as much strength/power in a short time period with or without the coat (of fat). But would that coat make him more able to pull a truck? Of course not, it's a coat!!!

F*ck you Eurosport! Manged to catch the last 3 events I think...awesome to see the not so big guys getting some coverage, thats whats needed to get a broader appeal Happy

^^^ Ha true that! But really, 20kg of fat can't pull a truck or push a log up, it's dead weight. The heavier guys do better in the pulling events etc because they're generally taller so have big levers and carry more muscle as a result which can pull/push stuff. That's my scientific answer Wink
