Thursday 11th June 09 Following the stupid session on Wednesday, I thought I may as well do some extras. Bench press Hate it but seem to go backwards without it. 60kg 2*5 80kg*5 90kg*5 100kg 2*5 Arms felt tired from Weds, but this has to be done. Pulldowns 3*10, Seated row 2*10, reverse flyes 2*12, curls 3*8 Finished in about 35 minutes. Fairly perfunctory, but I've been neglecting assistance work for years and need to be more consistent. | ||

Bodyweight pullups/pause squat Needed to put some weight on the bar as some tool has unbolted the rack from the floor, meaning that it threatens to topple when I do pullups. Thought I may as well throw in some light squats with a pause. 3 pullups/60kg*3 5 pullups/100kg*3 4 pullups/120kg*3 4 pullups/130kg*3 Surprisingly hard work.
